Microsoft has put in place a nice looking, easy to maintain training portal for your users around Microsoft 365 technologies (SharePoint, OneDrive, Yammer, Teams, Power Apps …etc.).
The content of the training playlists is the official content. Please bear in mind that you can’t change this content or the order of material. However, you can add content to your library, by the mean of creating training pages or link to external resources.
The beauty of this learning center, is that you can include additional training material from your organization or from other sources, such as Pluralsight.
It is easy to deploy the training center within your tenant, simply follow these steps:
You can decide to hide certain sections of your learning pathway. For example, if your organization does not use yammer, you can hide this section by following these steps:
From the MLP webpart, click on the top right cog icon (settings), which will take you to the following page:
From this page, you can show/hide existing topics, playlist or content. Please remember that the default content (Office365 products) can’t be customized. You will have to create your own pages and embed the MLP webpart, filtered by topic or product, and add your custom content if needed.
The user interface is simple to navigate around, so please take the time to familiarize yourself with the admin side of the MLP.
Microsoft Learning Pathways allows you to integrate content from other learning providers, which I will cover in a separate post.
